古希腊教育思想对我国高等教育发展的启示

摘  要:古希腊教育思想强调社会和个人的协调发展。建国以来对高等教育的理解和定位在传统的"非黑即白"的思维模式下都存在一定偏颇。重视高等教育的社会功能,以促进政治与经济的可持续发展;重视人性和个人价值的培养,实现高等教育的和谐发展;重视个人创造力的培养,树立"以人为本"的教学观是古希腊教育思想对高等教育发展的启示。The Hellenic educational thoughts laid great emphasis on the development of both society and individual. However, owing to the influence of the traditional pattern of thinking that tends to go to extremes of good or bad, there exists a certain kind of inappropriateness towards the understanding and location of higher education since 1949. Hence Chinese higher education may absorb inspiration from the Hellenic educational thoughts from the following perspectives: focus on the social function of higher education to contribute to the sustainable development of politics and economy ; concentrate on the cultivation of personality and individual value to achieve a harmonious development of higher education; and put stress on personal creativity as well in order to establish a "people-oriented" concept of teaching.
