摘　　要：海棠在中国古代有着悠久的栽培历史。早在先秦时期的文献中就有记载,汉代与中国园林结缘,唐代栽培较为广泛,宋代达到鼎盛时期,被视为"花之最尊",元以后仍保持长盛不衰的势头。中国人喜爱海棠究其原因是在于其丰厚的文化内涵,人们视其为花之尊者、美人佳丽、春天和吉祥美好的象征。Chinese flowering crabapple had age-old cropping history in ancient China. Relevant facts were recorded early in Qin Dynasty. In Tang Dynasty it was widely planted, and in Song Dynasty, it was at the height of splendor, and keep prosperous in Yuan Dynasty. That Chinese is fond of Chinese flowering crabapple duo to the thick culture connotations. People regard it as noble person, beautiful woman and lucky symbol.
