摘　　要：以人为本不仅是社会主义和谐社会基本特征的集中体现,也是加强和改进思想政治工作的重要突破口,新时期思想政治工作必须坚持以人为本的原则,注重人性化的工作方法,充分尊重人的个性化,关注解决人的实际生活问题,切实保障思想政治工作的实效性。People- first approach not only is the concentrated embodiment which builds up the basic characteristic of harmonious social of socialism, also is the important breakthrough which strengthens and improves thought politics work. In new era, thought politics work must stick to people - first approach, pay attention to the work ways of humanism, and adequately defer to the individuation of people. In the meantime, it also must give attention to solve actual life problems of people, and determinately ensure substantial results of thought politics work.
