摘　　要：基督教文化不仅丰富了日本文学的意义内涵,而且激活了日本文学发现自我、反抗封建传统、争取民权自由、参与现实、感化人生、创造自我的多种可能性,显示了日本近代文学发展的复杂性。基督教是我们研究和考察日本近代文学中浪漫主义发展的一个重要的文化背景。The Japanese Modern Romanticism Literature was the premature product of the time triggered by western Christianity. The Japanese literature was thus greatly enriched in its connotation and flourished in almost all fields： the emancipation of individuality, the revolt against feudal conventions, the struggle for civil rights, the participation of social life, the reflections on life itself and self-cultivation. As the cultural context, Christianity is the open sesame to the accurate understanding and interpratation of the complexity of Japanese modern literature, especially that of the Japanese Modern Romanticism.
