摘  要:本文通过分析华裔美国作家谭恩美的小说《喜福会》中映映·圣克莱尔所叙述童年时向“月亮娘娘”许愿的经历,解读小说如何创造性套用中国古老神话《嫦娥奔月》来揭露父权二元对立思想对于女性的他者化。文章结合小说的结构特点和叙述手法来说明,小说在女性主体性建构问题上所要传递的信息是,解构二元对立才是当务之急。Chinese American writer Amy Tan' s novel The Joy Luck Club contains a narrative by Ying-ying St. Clair of her childhood experience of praying to the Moon Lady for being found. This paper, through the analysis of the narrative, illustrates how the novel revises the ancient Chinese myth "The Moon Lady" (Chang' e) to reveal that the patriarchal binary thought defines woman as the Other and deprives her of subjectivity. It is concluded that the novel conveys the message that in exploring and constructing the female subjectivity, the top priority should be the deconstruction of the binary oppositions.
