摘　　要：从美国黑人作家艾里森的小说《看不见的人》慈善的主题出发,运用礼物经济的原理分析小说中诺顿和玛丽等人物对主人公的慈善行为的不同性质,以及慈善概念的不同内涵。The thesis dwells on the theme of benevolence in Ralph Ellison＇s novel The Invisible Man. Applying the theory of economy of gift, it analyzes the different nature of benevolence that Norton and Mary represents in their treatment to the protogonist in the Invisible Man.
