摘　　要：在浩瀚的信息资源中要准确甄别科技论文的真伪,必须借助查新手段来把握科技论文的质量和水平。从初审来稿质量、杜绝误发剽窃抄袭的文章、核查一稿多投重复发表、复查参考文献,杜绝失真现象等方面探讨了查新在科技期刊编辑工作中的辅助作用。In order for distinguish of the true or false for a scientific treatise or an academic thesis from a vast accumulation of information resource, it is necessary to control the quality and level of the articles by help of the sci-tech novelty retrieval system. The assistant effect of sci-tech novelty retrieval on magazine editorial quality updating is described from the aspects such as approving results for a manuscript or draft, preventing the plagiarized or copied articles published by mistake, multi-contribution or duplicated publication checking, references verification, etc.
