摘　　要：社会阅读活动对提升城市文化,城市竞争力、推动城市的发展有着非常重要的意义。本文分析了图书馆在社会阅读推广中的作用以及充分认识社会阅读的重要性和紧迫感,探讨推广社会阅读拓展图书馆生长空间对策。Social reading activities can facilitate a city＇ s culture, competition and development. This paper analyzes the important role that libraries play during social reading extension and social reading＇ s importance and urgency. It discusses the policy of popularizing social reading to extend the new growths of libraries.
