摘　　要：女性问题一直是英国著名女作家多丽丝.莱辛所关注的问题,她的作品中的女性为自己的独立不断进行抗争。在她的短篇小说《屋顶丽人》中,她以独特的形式——沉默,来体现出女主人公的反抗精神。本文通过对女主人公行为的解读,为读者展现出一位不被男性所主宰,有着独立意识的新女性。The problem of the female is concerned by Doris Lessing, the outstanding female British writer. In her works the female is always fighting for their independence and freedom by every means. Doris Lessing embodies the heroine＇s rebellious spirit in a peculiar way--silence in her short story A Woman on a Roof. This essay analyses the behavior of the heroine, and presents a modern woman who is not dominated by the man and is with the individual awareness.
