摘　　要：随着社会信息化进程的加快,有的高校只是重视对数字图书馆的发展,却忽视对纸质图书,特别是外文过刊的馆藏。这种现象对于科研创新十分有害,而且对读者、对知识也缺乏尊重,对增进高校对外交流与合作极为不利。作为高校图书馆,应该做好对纸质外文过刊的馆藏。With the rapid process of the social information, some universities only focus on the development of digital libraries, but neglect to collect paper＇made books, especially the management and collection of the foreign outdated periodicals. This phenomenon is extremely bad for scientific research and innovation, and doesn＇t respect readers and knowledge. At the same time, it does harm to improve foreign communication and cooperation of universities. The university library should well collect foreign outdated paper-made periodicals.
