摘　　要：本文对简单网络管理协议的基本概念进行了简要介绍,阐述了进程信息在网络管理中的重要作用。在此基础上介绍了在Windows NT下实现扩展代理的方法,并利用在MIB中添加进程信息来展示了扩展代理的技巧,使网管开发者将重点转移到专有MIB的编写和特定扩展代理程序的设计上。This paper introduces the concept of SNMP. It also introduces the important effect of process information in the network management. It presents a method which implements the extension agent under the SNMP services on Windows NT. This paper brings forth the skill of extension agent by force of affiliating process information with a branch of MIB tree. The developer＇s emphasis will be transferred to the compiling of the private MIB and the design of the special program of extension agent.
