摘　　要：介绍PI(Plant Information System)数据库的技术特点及优势、PI主要模块的功能、PI系统SCADA数据的接入方法和应用概况,此外还给出了PI数据库在电网运行监视、配网事故巡线、城市电网规划和输变电设施可靠性统计等4方面的应用案例,叙述每个案例的开发背景、基本思路、主要功能和实际意义,以及下一步PI接入与应用的初步设想。The technical features and advantages of the Plant Information （PI） system database, functions of PI＇s main modules, and the access method of SCADA data to the PI system are presented. Applications of PI database to grid operation monitoring, distribution line inspection during faulty accidents, urban grid planning, and reliability statistics for transmission and transformation equipment are illuminated, including the development background, design principles and main functions of each application case. Suggestions on further application are proposed.
