摘  要:旅游业具有其区别于其他行业的特殊性,本文以2001—2006年旅游上市公司为样本,研究其多元化经营与企业业绩之间的关系。实证结果发现:多元化经营的旅游企业在盈利能力等方面优于未多元化的企业,二者在现金流量方面无显著差异;多元化经营带来了正的经济后果,即多元化经营提高了企业业绩。上述结果的发现与旅游行业的基本特征以及旅游企业多元化可能形成的范围经济、协同效应有关。Tourism industry has its peculiarity different from other trades. The paper, with listed tourism companies from 2001 to 2006 as samples, studies the relationship between multi-operation and the performace of enterprises. The results of study indicate that tourism enterprises engaging in multi-operation are superior to those enterprises with non-multi-operation in terms of their profit growth. There is no distinct difference in terms of cash flow. Multi-operation has brought up positive economic consequence, resulting in good performance of enterprises. The above results are related to the basic characteristics of tourism trade and possible formation of scale economy by multi-operation of tourism enterprises.
