摘 要:在技术变革视野下,唐代荆襄地区通过运用新技术培育出茶叶、襄器、朱橘、楚练生产等四大主导产业,使区域经济各要素得到了合理的优化配置,既形成了多增长极的产业结构形态,又有良好的运转绩效,从而造就了唐代荆襄经济的繁荣。唐以后荆襄之衰,既是囿于产业构成中的结构性缺陷,更主要的是唐季以后的长期战乱摧垮了其赖以持续创新的文化存量基础。By applying new technology, people in Jing- Xiang areas developed the four main trading products of tea, oranges, lacquer - ware, and porcelain during Tang Dynasty, which flourished so that all the essential elements of the regional economy were optimized rationally and soundly, as a result of which, there emerged an industrial structure with multiple sectors developing exceedingly rapidly, and there was pretty good management efficiency, thus resulting in the economic prosperity in Jing - Xiang areas during Tang Dynasty. Afterwards, the economy in Jing - Xiang areas went downhill and became stagnant and remained on the decline. The economic decline was caused, on the one hand, by the structural faults of the economic composition, and on the other, mainly by the chaos of the protracted continual wars from the late Tang to the South Song Dynasty, which destroyed the foundation of culture accumulation upon which sustained innovative capability depended for developing economy in all fields.
