摘　　要：文章从材料化学教育的发展和广西有色金属行业对材料化学专业人才的需要出发,探讨了工科院校建设材料化学专业的定位以及建设,提出了符合西部特色人才需求和可持续发展的材料化学专业人才培养模式和教学内容。The paper discussed the localization and construction of material chemistry major construction in engineering universities from the development of material chemistry education, the non-ferrous metals industry of Guangxi in material chemistry for the demand of west region character person＇s mode and the course content which was suited to the sustable development was also introduced.
