摘　　要：为寻找常见编码算法的共性规律,尤其是语音编码和图像编码的共性规律,在分析语音和图像编码常用方法及发展方向的基础上,比较研究了语音和图像信号特征的异同,并指出了二者编码的共同点,着重指出了二者通用的编码技术。对语音和图像编码算法的设计有一定的指导意义,对多媒体的融合编码也有一定意义。In order to find common coding rules of ordinary algorithms, especially between speech coding and image coding, their coding methods in common use and development directions are analyzed on the basis of compare on speech and image signals. The same between the two is then pointed out, particularly the universal coding techniques. It has some use in the coding algorithm＇s design and the multimedia syncretic coding.
