摘　　要：2008年是世界保护联盟建立60周年。现在它拥有1000多个成员,包括国家、政府机构、国际和国家非政府组织等。它利用这个独特的结构使社会公众和政府官员能够进行民主和公开对话。它是一个最早、最重要的关注生物多样性保护和持续利用的国际组织。它的特长在于对物种栖息地和生态系统的管理。它对全球现代的环境问题,例如气候变化、能量、贫困、世界市场和安全等十分关注,并且为此制定了未来的工作计划。2008 is the 60^th anniversary ef foundation of The World Conservation Union, with members amounting to more than 1 000 at present, including nations governmental agencies, international and national nongovemmental organizations. With its unique organization, IUCN enables the democratic and open dialogues among civil societies and governments, so that this foremost and important international organization was able to pay its attention to biodiversity conservation and its sustainable use. The fundamental expertise of this organization is the management of biospecies and ecosystems and pay extreme attention to problems of present environment of the world, such as changes in climate, energy, poverty, world market and security, developing future program for them.This paper introduced them in brief for reference.
