摘　　要：汉英两种语言在缩略词的构成方面有着明显的差异,它们各自的语义功能、语法功能也不尽相同。就汉英缩略词的构成方式、语义功能等方面的异同进行比较。Chinese and English both have great differences in the structure of the branchylogy.And their own function about the meaning and the grammar is not the same too.This article probes into the similarities and the differences in the forming way and the meaning function of Chinese and English branchylogy.
