摘　　要：从文化学的角度出发,作者批判了以西方为主导的国际关系理论及实践。最近西方国家尤其是美国外交政策的实质是用西方"文明"的规范重塑世界,而国际关系学科中则存在着排斥非西方价值观的根深蒂固的误区,这导致国际关系研究出现了理论肤浅化及庸俗化的倾向。作者认为,改变这种状况将是一个长期而艰难的任务,需要国际关系学者担当起道义上的责任并寻求人类文明的共性以促进世界和平。This paper criticizes the West-led IR theories and practices in the perspective of culture.It proceeds from two key foundations:the first is that recent Western,particularly US,foreign policy has sought to order upon the world a particular norm of 'civilization';the second is that,in the discipline of International Relations,there has been a wide spectrum of debate but that,even at the most liberal and accommodating end of that spectrum,there are propositions that may be refuted-both turn the study of international relations to be a vulgar and superficial work.It would be a long-term and arduous task to change this situation that requires scholars of international relations assume moral responsibility for the common human civilization and to promote world peace.
