摘　　要：JPEG(Joint Picture Expert Group)标准提供了压缩静态图像的方法和语法。它的主要应用是以压缩的形式存储和传输静态图像,因此它在数字图像、数码相机、网页嵌入式图像和许多其它的领域中有着广泛的应用。随着移动终端、多媒体、Internet网络、通信以及图像扫描技术的发展,人们对图像数据处理的实时性要求越来越高,用软件压缩数据的方法已经难以达到实时性的要求。所以用硬件实现图像处理算法已经成为必然的趋势,也成为目前研究的热点问题。JPEG has provided the methods and grammars for compressing static picture. Its main application is to store and transmit static picture through the compressed form, Therefore it has a widespread application in the digital picture, the digital camera, the picture embedded in web and many other domains. Along with the development in the mobile termination, multimedia, Internet network, correspondence as well as picture scanning technology, real time processing image data is requested mere and more high. It has been difficult to meet the timely requirements for compressing data with software already. Therefore it has been inevitable tendency to realize picture processing algorithm with the hardware. It is also hot topic study at present.
