摘　　要：花蜜3号是以四倍体W40-2-3为母本,G03-8为父本配制而成的中熟、高产、抗病、大果型无籽西瓜新品种。植株生长旺盛,坐果整齐。全生育期110d左右,果实发育期30～34d。果实圆球形,果形指数1.0,单果重5kg左右,果皮浅绿色覆深绿色齿纹,外观美丽,畸形果少;皮厚1.2～1.4cm;红瓤,质脆沙爽口,中心可溶性固形物含量11.5%,品质优良。667m2产量4000kg左右。适应性广,适宜在河南、江西、湖南等地栽培。2007年通过河南省农作物品种审定委员会审定。Huami No. 3 is triploid seedless watermelon developed by using tetraploid inbred W40-2-3 as female parent and diploid inbred G03-8 as male parent. It is a high yield seedless watermelon variety with good disease resistance, vigorous plant and uniform fruit set. The fruit matures 110 days from sowing and 30 to 34 days from flowering. The fruit is globe shaped with green skin color and deep green well defined narrow stripes. The rind thickness is 1.2-1.4 em. The flesh is red and crisp with center soluble solids content 11.5%. The average fruit weight is about 5 kg and 667m2 yield is 4 000 kg. This variety is suitable for commercial production in Henan, Jiangxi, Hunan provinces. It is officially approved for commercial release in 2007 by Henan Commercial Variety Registration Authority.
