摘　　要：语言习得者对省略句中的代词的理解是不可以随心所欲的,而是要受到一些条件的限制。文章在普遍语法(UG)的框架下,研究中国英语学习者对英语省略句中的两种:剥除式省略(Stripping)和动词词组省略(VPE)结构中的代词的理解情况,并从中探讨UG在二语习得中的可及性问题。It is not arbitrary of language learners＇ interpretation to pronouns in elliptical constructions, but restricted by some constraints. This paper, within the framework of University Grammar （UG） , is intended to study the Chinese-speaking English learners＇ interpretation of pronouns in two types of English elliptical constructions： stripping and VPE, and explore the accessibility of UG in second language acquisition （SLA）.
