摘　　要：描述短毛下盾螨Hypoaspis brevipilis Hirschmann,1969雌螨与后若螨。Female and deutonymph of Hypoaspis brevipilis are described in the present paper. Hypoaspis brevipilis Hirschmann, 1969 Female. Idiosoma 689 μm long and 402μm wide. Dorsal shield covering entire dorsum, dorsal setae short and simpie. Presternal shields 1 pair. Sternal shield with slightly concave posterior margin, sternal setae 3 pairs and pores 2 pairs on the shield, MSt and the 3rd of pores on cuticle behind the shield. Genital shield expanded posteriorly, with 1 pair of setae. Anal shield triangular, Ad situated at level of middle of anus, both Ad and PA subequal to anus in length. Metapodal shields 2 pairs. Posterior projection of peritrematal shield narrow, peritreme reaching to anterior margin of coxa I anteriorly. Tectum triangular, with many denticles at anterior margin. Movable digit of chela bideutate, fixed digit with several denticles. Deutonymph. Length 517 μm, width 345 μm. Dorsal shield oval, with 1 pair of narrow lateral incisions, bearing 39 pairs of simple short setae. Sternal shield with 4 pairs of setae and 3 pairs of pores. Anal shield circular anteriorly, Ad situated at level of middle of anus, both Ad and PA slightly longer than anus. Metapodal shields 1 pair. Peritreme reaching to anterior part of coxa I anteriorly. Specimens 3 9 9 and 1 deutonymph, ex humus soil, from Tai＇an （36°15′N, 117°08E） , Shandong Province, in July 2000.2 ♀♀ and 1 deutonymph, ex forest soil, from Baiyun Mountain （33°49′N, 111°52′E）, Henan Province, in 23 July 2001.
