摘　　要：甲基丙烯酸甲酯(methyl methacrylate,MMA)是一种重要的有机化工原料,主要用来生产有机玻璃(聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯,PMMA),也用来制造其他树脂、塑料、涂料、粘合剂、润滑剂、木材和软木的浸润剂、电机线圈的浸透剂、纸张上光剂、印染助剂和绝缘灌注材料等。其主要下游产品有机玻璃是一种发展较早的重要热塑性塑料,具有外观优美和透光率优异、化学稳定性、耐候性、易染色、易加工等特性,广泛应用于汽车、建筑、卫生洁具和公共工程等行业。MMA还可以用于生产涂料、PVC树脂改性和加工助剂、粘合剂、润滑剂、腈纶第二单体、纺织浆料等。In this article the status quo of production technology and research progresses on the methyl methacrylate (MMA) in both China and abroad were introduced in detail. Analysis of production capacity of MMA worldwide and forecast of its development trend based on a large number of data was carried out. Meanwhile, both the supply and demand and the prices of MMA were also discussed and forecasted. Some suggestions for development of MMA in China were put forward.
