EFFECT OF STIMULATING SEPTAL NUCLEUS ON PAIN NEURONS OF HIPPOCAMPUS

摘  要:在三碘季胺酚制动下,对39只清醒麻痹的家兔进行实验,探讨隔核对海马痛单位的作用及其可能机制。结果发现,海马的痛单位占引导总数的28.37%,其中以痛兴奋单位为主(占痛单位的70.34%)。海马有80.51%的痛单位对刺激隔核起反应,含痛兴奋性神经元(PEN)71个,痛抑制性神经元(PIN)24个。其中受隔核影响出现减频反应的海马痛单位有72个,占75.79%,含PEN61个,PIN11个;受隔核影响出现增频反应的海马痛单位有23个,占24.21%,含PEN10个,PIN13个。脑室注射阿托品或氟哌啶醇均可阻断刺激隔核对海马的影响效应。提示:隔核参与对海马痛单位的调制;刺激隔核对海马痛单位以抑制性调制为主,并主要作用于PEN;乙酰胆碱、多巴胺及相应的受体可能参与其调制。Microelectrode recording method was used to investigate the effect of stimulating septal nucleus (SN) on pain neurons of hippocampus (HPC) in conscious but movement inhibited rabbitsResults:The pain units of HPC amounted to 2827% of the total number of the recorded neurons8051% of these pain units responded to SN stimulation,of which 72 were pain excitory neurons (PEN) and 24 were pain inhibitory neurons(PIN)When SN was stimulated,the electric discharge frequency of 72 HPC pain units(61 PEN and 11 PIN) was decreased (7579%)On the other hand,the electric discharge frequency of 23 HPC pain units (10 PEN and 13 PIN) was increased (2421%)Intracerebroventricular injection of atropine or haloperidol blocked the response of the pain units to SN stimulationThe results suggest that SN takes part in the modulation of the pain units of HPCStimulation of SN produces mainly inhibitory modulation effect on HPC pain units,and affects mainly the pain excitory neuronsAcetylcholine,dopamine and their receptors might be involved in such modulating mechanism
