摘　　要：本文应用MapX控件实现了地理信息系统（GIS）的基本功能，介绍了MapX控件的特点。作者论述了该项目开发中的数据绑定、客户定义工具、双向查询及缓冲区分析等几项关键技术，并用Delphi进行了编程实现。在此基础上设计的排水管网管理系统取得了良好的效果。In this paper, the basic functions of GIS are implemented by applying MapX control, the characteristics of MapX are introduced. The authors describe the several essential technologies in the development of GIS project, such as data bind, client custom tool, bidirectional query, buffer analyzing and so on, and realize them by using the programming language of Delphi. The drain pipe network management system obtains well effect on the basis.
