摘　　要：该文分析了目前网络化数字图书馆所存在的问题,同时介绍富客户端应用的有关情况。根据RIA所具有的特性,提出了基于RIA构建网络数字图书馆的思路。在分析这种方案理论可行性的基础上,着重介绍两种关键技术问题,同时给出基于RIA构建网络数字图书馆的体系结构方案,并对客户端、服务器端以及协议方面的实现问题做了详细探讨。This paper first analyses the problem existing in Web-based digital library, then introduces the Rich Internet Applications （RIA） in short, a brand-new Web application solution. According to the trait of RIA, the thought of constructing Web-based digital library based on RIA is presented, and two key techniques adopted in RIA are summarized and analyzed. Besides, the framework of Web-based digital library based on RIA is described and the realization of client, server and protocol are discussed in detail.
