摘　　要：诺贝尔经济学奖得主斯蒂格利茨关于知识产权保护的理论对图书馆学界有重要的启示,他所提出的"知识是一种公共物品"和"知识产权制度应该平衡知识生产者与社会公众之间对知识产权受益与使用的利益分配"这两个基本看法对图书馆利用知识产品进行服务提供了理论上的借鉴与参考,从而为构筑起一个以发展为导向的知识产权保护体系做准备。Nobel Economics Prize winner Stiglitz＇s intellectual property rights protection theory has an important inspiration for the librarianship. The two basic views which Stigliz has proposed ＂knowledge is a public goods＂ and ＂intellectual property system should balance the distribution of interests between the knowledge producers and the knowledge users＂ will provide some theoretic references for the library using of knowledge products, then it will help to build a development-oriented intellectual property protection system as a result.
