摘　　要：根据所查阅的近百种文献资料,提出了GIS在国内有发展成为新的学科的观点。指出GIS成为高校的新专业,成为科学研究的热点,GIS已发展为新的信息产业;分析了具有自主知识产权的国产GIS基础软件;介绍了GIS所应用的行业,并从国家基础地理信息系统的建立,数字化城市建设等方面说明GIS有着广泛应用的前景;最后从总的系统角度上阐述了GIS发展的趋势。This paper presented a new view that GIS has being become a new science, has become a new specialty in our university, and a hot of scientific research, new information industry, the paper also analyzed GIS software with independent property rights in China. It introduced the GIS-used industry, introduced that GIS can be widely used from the establishment of state basic geographic information system, of digital city. Finally, it introduced the developing trend of GIS from the perspective system.
