摘　　要：战胜’98长江大水是人类抗洪斗争史上的奇迹。在总结’98抗洪斗争的主要经验后,分析认为’98抗洪实践成为推动我国从传统水利向现代水利转变的重大契机,带给人们启示,同时对新时期湖北长江防洪提出要充分发挥好三峡水库的防洪减灾作用,进一步完善分蓄洪区建设,建立长江崩岸应急抢护机制等对策。The successful defense of big flood in 1998 offers valuable lessens in the flood fighting history of China. Built on these lessens, experiences have been accumulated, as the practice of flood fighting in 1998 accelerates the pace of transferring from conventional flood control to modem flood management. It is considered that, under the new situation with Three Gorges Reservoir, the capacity of flood defense in Hubei Province is enhanced, but other measures such as flood retention basins and emergency treatment of landslide should be reinforced.
