摘　　要：目的探索一个新的有效治疗踝关节扭伤的方法。方法通过双手对挤手法"U"形石膏外固定踝关节,治疗踝关节253例。结果随访10～48个月共248例,优198例,良41例,中等9例,优良率达到96.3%。结论双手对挤手法"U"形石膏外固定踝关节能够治疗踝关节扭伤,并能预防和治疗踝关节不稳。是一种简单而实效的方法。Objective To evaluate a new approach in the treatment of ankle sprains. Method The method of mutual pressure by both hands and fixation by ＂O＂ pattern plaster was used in treatment of 253 patients with ankle sprains and instability. Results Among these cases, 248 patients were followed- up for 10--48 months, the results were excellent in 198 cases, good in 41, and fair in 91. The excellent and good rate was 96.3 %. Conclusions The method of mutual pressure by both hands and fixation by ＂U＂ pattern plaster is simple and effective in curing ankle sprains and preventing ankle instability.
