摘　　要：防火墙是目前保护网络安全的有效手段。从技术和应用角度出发,论述了防火墙的基本概念、性能指标和分类特点,阐述了防火墙的基本功能和高级功能,分析了防火墙对在网络安全保护范围,提出了选用防火墙的具体建议。Firewall is an effective means to protect network security.From the perspective of the technology and application,this article discusses the basic concept,performance characteristics and classification of a firewall,expounds the basic firewall functions and advanced features,analyses its protection range and gives real suggestions for selecting firewall.
