摘　　要：历史的演变、社会的变革,道德文化的变异促使当代的英语发生了重大的变化。其中语言的动态变化及语符消失现象是英语变化发展的重要标志之一。为了发展当代的应用语言学,我们必须极大地关注和研究当代英语的动态变化及语符消失现象。The developments and changes in history, in society and in cultures have caused great changes in the English language. The phenomenon of the dynamic changes of a word＇s sense and a symbol＇s disappearance is one of the indications of the developments of the English language. And it is also one of the subjects that Applied Linguistics Studies. This paper is to discuss and analyze the phenomenon in different contexts.
