摘　　要：《红字》是美国小说家霍桑的代表作,拟用原型批评理论与叙述学理论,浅析小说所体现的圣经关联,主要从人物、情节及叙述手法等三面论述。The paper aims to conduct an analysis on the biblical relevancy of the novel The Scarlet Letter,rnasterpiece of 19th-century American novelist Nathaniel Hawthoorne, chiefly on three aspects--characterization, plotting, and narrative technique, in the light of archetypal criticism and narratology.
