摘　　要：北京大学体育馆是2008年奥运会乒乓球比赛馆。在观察这一建筑并思考其生成过程时,奥运和北大这两个主题跳跃而出,它们都包含着从精神到物质的双重含义,即从奥运文化到赛时使用,从北大精神到赛后利用两重含义。Peiking University Gymnasium is the table tennis venue for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. By observing the gym and reflecting on the process its shaping, the article focuses on two themes： Olympics and PKU. Each of the two themes embodies both substantial and spiritual meanings, which are the Olympic culture and the use of the gym for the Olympics, also the spirit of PKU and the post- Olympics use. From the third-party perspective, the article analyses how the two themes are interpreted from the inside oy the PKG.
