摘　　要：推行社区矫正是我国司法改革中具体体现宽严相济的一项行刑政策,是顺应国际司法潮流,构建和谐社会的一项新举措。探讨宽严相济刑事政策及社区矫正的含义,社区矫正对贯彻宽严相济刑事政策的作用以及完善社区矫正的路径,对构建和谐社会具有积极的意义。Imposing community rectification is a kind of criminal policy which specifically embodies the combination of leniency and harshness in China judiciary reform. It is a new measure that conforms to the international trend of building a harmonious society. The paper discusses the meaning of combination of leniency and harshness in criminal policies and that of community rectification. It also discusses the influence of community rectification to the combination of leniency and harshness in criminal policies and the approach to perfect community rectification.
