摘　　要：公共图书馆作为社会公众获取各种信息资源的社会公益性机构,无疑成为政府信息公开制度中不容忽视的重要场所。公共图书馆在政府信息公开中的重要作用有法律条文和现实社会生活为支持和保证。公共图书馆发展的不均衡、传统观念的制约、公共图书馆工作活力的缺乏、政府信息公开相关配套机制的缺失阻碍了公共图书馆政府信息公开。可从以下几方面解决这些问题:公共图书馆基本建设;转变传统观念;增强工作活力;出台配套的图书馆法律法规;重视理论研究。As the social public welfare institutions for the public to obtain various information resources, public libraries undoubtedly become the important place in the system of the government information openness. The important role of public libraries in government information openness is supported by the legal provisions and the realistic social life. The imbalance of public libraries＇ development, the constraints of traditional concepts, the lack of public libraries working vigour and relevant mechanism for government information openness hinder the public libraries to open government information. The following aspects could solve these problems： building the infrastructure in public libraries; changing the traditional conception; enhancing the vitality of working; promulgating the supported library laws and regulations; attaching importance to theoretical research.
