摘　　要：西班牙是欧洲生物技术研发投入增速最快的国家之一,2006年西班牙生物技术研发投资同比增长约30%。医药、农业、工业生物技术及产业是其发展的重点。目前,西班牙已经形成了由教育科学部、卫生和消费部、农业、渔业和食品部等多部门齐抓共管的管理和支撑服务体系。西班牙转基因作物商业化、胚胎干细胞研究政策比较宽松,但在培育风险投资、吸引外国企业进入等方面尚需进一步破题。The Spanish R＆D investment in biotechnology which increased around 30% in 2006 has achieved the highest increasing rate in Europe. The priorities of Spanish biotechnology and bio - industry are focusing on medical, agricultural and industrial biotechnology. Several Spanish government departments have been working together to form a coordinative management and support framework for biotechnology development. Spain is open - minded on biotechnology, especially the commercialization of transgenic crops and researches of embryo stem cell. Maturing venture capital system and attracting foreign enterprises remain unresolved in the biotechnology development of Spain.
