摘　　要：论述了高功率二极管激光器在钢相变硬化中的应用。高功率二极管激光具有长方形束斑,在慢轴方向呈顶帽强度分布,在快轴方向呈高斯强度分布,这种形式尤其适合于宽处理区的表面处理应用场合。结果表明,高功率二极管激光是将来材料加工上的关键和魅力诱人的工具。The applications of high power diode lasers（HPDLs） for transformation hardening of steels was reviewed. The HPDLs with rectangular beam, a top-hat intensity distribution in its slow-axis and a Gaussian curvature in the fast-axis, are particularly suitable for wide-area surface treatment applications. The results show that the HPDLs is key and appeal- ing tools in future laser materials processing.
