摘　　要：时移电视是一项新颖的数字电视业务。双向HFC网络中的时移电视服务器需要与IPQAM和机顶盒等相关设备协同工作,然而系统开发阶段往往不具备这样的硬件环境。本文设计的机顶盒仿真程序,不仅可以模拟机顶盒与时移电视服务器之间进行双向交互,还实现了大规模的并发点播。工程实践证明,仿真机顶盒在时移电视系统的开发和测试阶段都起到了非常重要的作用。Time- Shifted TV（TSTV） is a novel service of Digital TV. TSTV based on HFC needs co -operation of special equipments, such as IPQAM and Set - Top Box. But at the stage of development, such hardware environment is hard to acquire. The emulator of STB discussed in this paper, can not only simulate the bidirectional communication between TSTV and STB, but also send out a large scale of concurrent requests. Practice of project shows, the STB emulator plays an important role in development and testing phase of TSTV system.
