摘　　要：素质教育要求人才的全面发展,重点是培养学生的创新精神与实践能力。对高等医药院校来说,要实现"人才的全面发展",重点是加强大学生人文素质教育,实现科学与人文的交融;而要培养"学生的创新精神与实践能力",重点要认清创新与实践的辩证关系,增强创新动力,提高培养大学生创新精神的实效性与针对性。实践育人,是提高医药院校大学生文化素质,促进学生全面发展,培养创新精神的有效途径。Competence-oriented education demands all-round development of the qualified personnel, emphasizing the cultivation of students＇ innovative spirit and practice capability. As for the medical institutions of higher learning, to realize the all-round development of qualified personnel, the key point is to strengthen the humanity competence-oriented education to mingle science with humanity. In order to cultivate the students＇ innovative spirit and practice capability ,the key point is to recognize the dialectical relation, boost their innovative power and enhance the actual effect and pertinence. Educate students through practice is an effective way to cultivate the medical college students＇innovative spirit, enhance their cultural competence and promote them developing comprehensively.
