摘　　要：关注弱势群体、保护弱势群体的合法权益是实现社会公平、全面建设和谐社会的重要任务。笔者从法律的角度对弱势群体的概念进行界定,分析其产生的原因,并在探讨了我国弱势群体法律保护现状的基础上,指出该制度体系存在的问题,提出完善我国弱势群体法律保护制度的建议。Giving more concern to the vulnerable groups and protecting their legal rights are an important task in the construction of a harmonious society and realization of social justice. The report to the 17th National Congress of CPC emphasizes that on the basis of the development of economy, people＇s livelihood should be more improved and a better social system, public service, social management and justice should also be on the way. As the present time, a strong judicial system is needed so that their rights can be realized and social development can be accelerated. This paper gives a new concept for the definition of ＂vulnerable groups＂ under the legal point of view and analyses the reason for their appearance. Based on an analysis of the pres- ent legal protection system, the paper also reveals its defects and gives suggestions to improve it.
