摘　　要：读者的阅读倾向决定着图书馆藏书结构的构成,它是图书馆建设的核心要素。以河北理工大学图书馆读者阅读倾向为研究对象,对2006～2007年中文图书流通数据进行统计分析,从读者需求的角度找出藏书结构存在的不足,为图书采购工作提供定量的理论依据。Reader interest in reading plays an important role in the construction of a library, because these interests have decided what sorts of books are available. By studying reader interest in Hebei Polytechnic University, the paper has made an analysis of the book circulation statistics during the period from 2006 to 2007 and pointed out many shortcomings of the library collection that serves as theoretical basis for book purchasing.
