摘　　要：可以基于服务器动态缓存技术,在WebGIS开发中应用Ajax和地图切片技术,有效减轻WebGIS服务器的负荷,提高服务器并发效率和客户端用户体验。本文介绍了基于ArcIMS,结合服务器端动态缓存技术,开发Ajax风格的WebGIS系统的基本原理、系统架构、关键技术和应用实例,具有重要的实用价值和现实意义。The Ajax technology has been widely used in web map application. The traditional WebGIS development can be enhanced by the technology of Ajax, map tile and server- based dynamic caching, which can effectively reduce the server loading, improve server efficiency and user experience. Based on the ArcIMS, MapEay and the technology of server - based dynamic caching, the principles, architecture and technique is introduced to the development of WebGIS, which has been used in the development of East China Geochemistry Database （ECGD）. The technique and method have realistic and practical value.
