摘　　要："美国悲剧之父"尤金·奥尼尔在海洋剧《安娜·克里斯蒂》中,以大海为象征,以大海——陆地作对照,生动地描写了安娜·克里斯蒂的堕落和新生,揭示了神秘命运的不可抗拒性。作家在描写水手绝望、凄惨生活的同时,折射出奥尼尔本人的悲剧命运观和对现代生活的悲剧性本质的理解。Eugene ONeill, the father of tragedy in America, vividly described Anna Christie tion and reborn to reveal the irresistible character of mysterious fate, by taking the sea as a symbo ring the sea and the land in Anna Christie. The description of the sailor＇ s desperation and misery writer＇ s tragical philosophy of life and his understanding on the tragical essence of modern life.
