摘　　要：唐代科举取士的制度设计产生了大量的落第士人。落第的结局,犹如多棱镜,在这类日益庞大的士人群体中折射出多层心态,积极进取之意、感慨悲伤之情、失意怀羞之心、失望归隐之思等杂陈于内。关注落第士人的心态,可以审析唐代下层士子特有的文化心理,了解唐代社会文化生活之一角。The losers in the Imperial Examination in the Tang Dynasty were the products of this examination system. A psychological study of these losers can well reveal their different psychologies like the enterprising spirit, the sad emotions, the shamefacedness and frustration. Such study can also mirror the cultural psychology of this group and some social and cultural aspects of the Tang dynasty.
