摘　　要：通过对2005年全国体育教育专业基本功技能大赛的基本情况、比赛特点进行全面综述。结果表明:基本功技能大赛逐步趋于完善,极大促进了体育教育专业的发展,并由本次基本功大赛的新启示,展望未来高等体育教育专业新的发展趋势,为西部地区的体育教育进一步发展提供了合理化建议。The article analyzes the details of Fourth National Basic Skill Contest for Majors of Physical Education in 2005. It shows that the National Basic Skill Contest is being perfected and it contributes to the promotion of physical education in Western China. It also forecasts the developmental tendency of physical education. The article also makes some reasonable suggestions to develop physical education in Western China.
