摘　　要：作者通过出国考察，耳闻目睹了德、美两国几家公司在卷钢涂料、汽车涂料、聚氨酯原料以及涂料和铝粉、铁白等方面的技术进展情况；在介绍国外先进工艺技术的同时，对如何缩小差距，提高我国的涂料科技水平提出了建议。Progress in the fields of coil coatings, car finishes,raw material and products of Pus, aluminum powder and titanium dioxide was introduced l Suggestions were made for the improvements of technical level of our industry and narrowing the gap existed with the world standard.
