摘　　要：索绪尔在《普通语言学教程》中提出"语言是一种符号系统",这是理解六种语言学的前提。针对有的学者对索绪尔"系统"理论的一些误读,从"语言与言语"、"共时与历时"、"内部与外部"等几方面对"系统"说进行探讨,并重申"任意性"是符号的基本属性,期于能够对经典理论进行正确解读。In Saussure＇ s Course in General Linguistics, there is the argument that language is defined as a system of signs. This is a point of view to understand his six kinds of linguistics. By listing some scholars＇ misunderstanding about Saussure ＇ s theory of system, this paper aims to discuss this theory from language, speech, synchronicity, diachrony, internal and external, and emphasizes that arbitrariness is one of the fundamental properties of symbol. A proper explanation of Saussure＇ s classic theory is also reviewed in this paper.
