摘　　要：利用洛岛红法系(F)、荷系(H)、荚系(E)三个系父本的单杂交、双杂交的优秀组合HE×FH及反交组组建基础群,经过四个世代的系统选育,育成湖北红鸡I系.40周龄产蛋数99.56枚,40周龄蛋重58.42g,开产日龄161.87d,开产体重1.74kg,72周龄产蛋数275.36枚.经四个世代选育,群体近交系数达到1.8513%,并且能稳定遗传;适应性强.The strain I of Hubei Red chicken had been established by systematic selection for four generations based on the group crossed with HE×FH hybrid and backcross hybrid ofRhode Island Red chicken (H : the strain from Holland, E : the strain from England, F:the strain from France). The hen could lay 99. 56 eggs from O to 40 week-age and 275. 36 eggs from O to 72 week-age, the average weight of egg was 58. 42 g. The hen laid first egg at 161. 8 day-age, and weighed 1. 74 kg, The inbreeding coefficient of strain I of Hubei Red chicken was 1. 8512%, strain I had stable heritability and great adaptability.
